Pottery Barn a cozy addition to Edmonton

Today I had an opportunity to sneak a peek at the new Pottery Barn, which opens Saturday in West Edmonton Mall.

The first thing I noticed about the American home decor retail store is its affinity for comfort. The ceilings, for example, feature beautiful wooden beams. The lighting is warm and inviting. And each section, from bed and bath to kitchen, offers an array of items in Pottery Barn’s signature modern cottage feel that can can easily be incorporated into any decor. They’re also priced at a mid-level point. This is a good thing for those who don’t want to sacrifice style for the little humans or four-legged companions they live with.

The second thing you’ll notice is Pottery Barn makes decorating accessible and attainable. Various store set-ups will feature brochures on how to decorate with a hurricane vase, for example. It’s a nice touch. And incredibly helpful!

The WEM Pottery Barn will also have a number of design consultants on hand who are happy to meet with you about your home projects for free.

Pottery Barn is located on the second level of WEM,  just east of the Ice Palace.
